its because to take cot lvls you need a weapon focus in melee weapon and unfortunately weapon focus in fists is not enough

Wow thanks, good call on the 16 WIS 16 DEX and adding the two extra to another stat. I ended up with all the same stats but 2 extra int when I did that. Just changed to Listen... put in Expertise, Imp Expertise, all the Imp Stuns, and I ended my monk levels on a multiple of 3 so I get the bonus speed :D. Thanks for all the tips so far people.

For the sake of keeping my build to myself, I'm not going to post it, but if one of you monk experts wants to see how it looks now and maybe even give a few more pointers just message me. I'd be more than happy to show ya.

Have you tested it in game? If you don't have a tester, go get PGC3 and test out on that


Just note that it hasn't been updated to 1.69 or cep 2.1, so you won't get the extra pretty appearances from those when you try to customise your appearance. It's good to test your characters though, as you can make basic equipment to find out your standard stats (+5 ab and +4 ac gear)

You can send it to me if you like, my knowledge of nwn is reapproaching its old level... just keep the magics away :D

This was my first thought too.
But on second thought: These 2 feats have the equivalent damage value of +12 strength. It' s constant damage (no dice rolls) and it will be added up and multiplied on critical hits. That is not that bad, is it?

depending on your build it may or may not be worth it however still, seeing as you can gain weapon specialization from another source.
