What type of quests would you like to see added? Remember that we are limited in resources, and by the engine.

Ideas being considered:

1) Delivery quests. This type would be used to help new players explore the world, and older players get a better knowledge of it.

2) Connected Quests. These would be set up like the Shieldland quest for the Demon Path Desert items.

3) More hunt quests. Multiple hand ins possible as usual.

4) "Get me (object)." quests. The usual single shot hand in quests.

Any other ideas or suggestions? What would you, the players, like to see?

what about the Firecragg mine, since it's an area that already exists.

1: allow people to rest in the mines since whatever the original reason for preventing it never came to be

2: maybe add a npc at the last room where the stairs to nowhere are who wants marchane machine parts for something he's building below.(which you would loot from the corpes of the Marchane diggers and exchange for exp). it would at least give another area to level in while also giving archers somehwere to get exp solo on par with the craggs as there are a few spots they can shoot from if they can sneak there.

3: leave the rest as it is. It's a good area just no real reason to go there and since you can't rest it's not worth travelling through when you know it goes nowhere. (unless your a sneaker)

4: almost forgot, he gives you a key to for the corpse that needs an non existent key (if you were not the first there)

Idea 1:
Quest limited vendors.
Vendors that have several items that are only available to people that have done XYZ quest.
Haven't sone the quest - vendor won't talk to you.

Not sure if it's possible, but the same vendor could have several items that require 1 or more quests to be able to see/purchase.
for example:

Quest 1 slay the xyz
Vendor now talks to you

Quest 2 retireve vendors daughter from baddies
Vendor now has additional items and 10% discount for life.

Idea 2:
Quests to customise the items rather than the forge.
Want flame added to the weapon - take the quest to dip the blade in the forever flame in the burning sands. Still spend the gem and some gold at a merchant to get 'token' for use with the flame.

Want cold? Travel to Northern lands and find the neverending glacier etc etc etc

I like the "retrieve an item" quests fine, if the reward is juicy enough. The delivery quests are hard if they require a high strength, like the Duskenwood quest; my dexers cry. The Duskenwood quest is, I think, not very useful. Nobody still wants to go through those forests.

An area that could be utilized? The Kurowai village, for one, has nothing there and I dunno how many people even know where it is. Maybe the Kurowai, little buggers that they are, stole something from an NPC who would be around-about the Carror docks?




Some upper level quests, 26+, would be awesome though. It's hard to level without a hippoer buddy.

How about a quest or two that the reward is a level. (non repeatable)
Make them long enough and arduous enough but the reward worthwhile.
Everyone will want to do it pre 40th to get the best use of the rewards.
Now it just remains to make the quest - kinda like an epic crawl. Maybe in and around SV and DH. See this person, carry this note to the, I need xyz before I'll give you the code for ... etc etc
Make the questee explore the maps and zones.

I do. It is not that hard. You need to know how to fight the spirit. I solo with my dc cleric. No kidding. But I love duskenwood quest :)

That is good idea. i like it.

Also is it possible to put script to scan player level to give reward? for eg. lvl 26 player done the quest and get xp and gp reward. Then later on lvl 40 player come to do that same quest but get random high level gear and gp reward.
